PGSTech is proud to announce that on December 31st, 2023, it has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares from its share capital held by Powersys. This move makes PGSTech the sole provider of EMTP® licenses worldwide, consolidating its expertise in the development and commercialization of EMTP® and strengthening its position as a leader in power system simulation.
Since 2018, PGSTech and Powersys have collaboratively formed the EMTP Alliance dedicated to developing, marketing, and providing technical support to EMTP® worldwide. Within this alliance, Powersys was supporting PGSTech with commercialization activities. PGSTech was delivering software development and support, consulting projects, and overall management of all EMTP Alliance activities.
As of the 1st of January 2024, PGSTech now assumes all roles and responsibilities, streamlining operations for greater efiiciency and effectiveness.
A smooth transition to EMTP® users
Since its creation, PGSTech has overseen and managed all activities of the EMTP Alliance. Therefore, no perturbations are expected for EMTP® clients.
Our core team, led by CEO Jean Mahseredjian and COO Henry Gras, alongside our development, consulting, marketing, and support teams, remains unchanged. This guarantees continuity and expertise in our offerings.
The primary adjustment affects clients who previously placed orders through Powersys France, Powersys USA and PWSIM (India). To streamline future orders, we kindly request these clients to directly engage with PGSTech. Please consult us to request information if the vendor registration process of your company is lengthy.
