Get Started with EMTP - India

Online Training

Objectives

In this training session, participants will become familiar with EMT-type simulation software as well as study power-system transients. Among the topics that will be discussed are how to model power system networks, what scenarios to run, and how to interpret and verify results. Demonstrations and case studies will be conducted using EMTP software.

Training structure

The duration of the training is 1 day.
The training starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
Lunch breaks are from 1p.m. to 2 p.m.
The training is presented in English.

Computer and temporary EMTP® license

EMTP® temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course. Prior experience with EMTP is not required.
