The objective of this training is to present a short course on renewable source integration studies.

EMTP® is used for all simulations and illustration examples.
Practical test cases are provided to illustrate the various concepts.
Audience
This course is intended for engineers, researchers, operators and maintenance personnel using simulation software in general. It provides up-to-date technical expertise on renewable energy integration projects.
Training structure
The duration is 4 days: April 17-20, 2023
The training starts at 10:00 am to 12:30 pm (EDT) every day.
Computer and temporary EMTP license
Each participant will have to bring a personal computer. EMTP® temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course.
Instructor
Henry is the director of the EMTP Alliance. He oversees engineering, development and sales activities.
He has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnique Montreal and a bachelor’s degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
He is specialized in transients in power systems, protections, control and microgrids and conducts trainings and webinars on these topics.
