EMTP- Insulation Coordination Analysis
The aim of this course is to develop the knowledge on transients in power system. Learn and enhance your skill on switching and lightning transients using EMTP Software. The real feel of simulating switching and lightning Transients in substations. The detailed investigations of selecting/optimizing equipment insulation levels.


Basic EMTP e-training
The objective of this training is to get familiar with the usage of EMT-type software and the study of power-system transients. How to model power-systems, what scenarios to run and how to interpret and verify results are as many questions that will be addressed. The software EMTP is used for demonstrating concepts and teaching through practical cases. Prior experience with EMTP is not required.
EMT simulation and Analysis of Large-Scale Power Systems with Renewables
This course is an online training on EMT simulation of renewables. It is composed of 2 webinars of 2h and 3 optional lab sessions of 2h.
The objective of this training is to present a short course on renewable source integration studies.
Learn on power system transients and to predict the outcome of transient events on power systems.
Temporary EMTP licenses will be provided to the lab audience.
HVDC EMT modeling, simulation and analysis
This course is an online training on EMT simulation of HVDC. It is composed of 5 webinars of 2 hours and 5 optional lab sessions of 2 hours.
This course presents practical and technical information on VSC-HVDC and LCC-HVDC systems based on real projects.
If attendees cannot make it to any of the Theory session, a recording of the course will be shared.

Get started with EMTP
