What should I do to upgrade to the new licensing system?
To transition to the new licensing system and access the latest version of EMTP, please initiate the process by downloading the provided form, filling it out, and sending it to support@emtp.com. Please include "Attachment - Change License Type" in the subject line. See more
Are there any ports that I should whitelist?

What happens in case of temporary internet brownouts?
All license types require an internet connection for a brief period to activate or release the license. Additionally, floating cloud licenses check the internet connection every 15 minutes, while cloud and node-lock licenses perform this check weekly. See more
What is the scheme of the Network Security Architecture?
Our software runs on a desktop machine and does not access cloud, local, or any other network. The only internet connection made is by the LicenseSpring library, solely for licensing purposes. See more
What happens if the concurrent users reach the maximum I contracted?
When the maximum number of concurrent users is reached, the next user attempting to launch EMTP will encounter a message indicating that no licenses are currently available, similar to the following image: See more
What happens with the old Flex licenses once we have the new cloud licenses?
Old licenses files must be deleted, and USB must be returned to our headquarters in Canada. See more
When should an IP address be whitelisted?
An IP address should be whitelisted when the firewall protection blocks the connection between the licensing system and the license server. See more
Where can I manage my licenses and check all the related information?
On the LicenseSpring website for users at https://EMTP.users.licensespring.com. Log in with the credentials the license Manager received via email. There, you can view all your available licenses, their activation status, included features/toolboxes, and more. See more
How to configure the firewall rules to allow activation utility license checking?
Firewall must be configured to allow inbound and outbound connections for both EMTPInfoTool5.exe and Emtp_ActivationUtility.exe. See more
