PQ Load with Load Flow Part - Version 4.2.1

Submitted by andrew.balgobi… on Sat, 10/01/2022 - 01:14

I would like to assign multiple different real and reactive power values from the mask of my network to several buses to perform load flows for different scenarios. However, I find myself unable to assign a variable to the new 'PQ load with load flow' part (e.g. #P#) in the current 4.2.1 version of the software. I recall it was possible when modelling in version 4.1. Is there any work around for this using the new version? It is impractical for me to manually assign the load variables as there are hundreds of load points.

How to realize frequency and period controllable and change at any time in the signal generation module? For example, when a square wave signal is output, the frequency will change with time, and naturally the period will also change, and the duty cycle will always remain 0.5. In the figure, the width changes with the control needs, and the period also changes.

FDBFIT Device

Hello

I'm currently working on generating high frequency models of transformers. In the Device library (https://www.emtp.com/documentation/emtp-devices) I found the FDBFIT device documentation (https://www.emtp.com/documents/EMTP%20Documentation/doc/transformers/fdbfit.pdf). However, in the program I can't find this device in any of the libraries, I don't know if the device needs to be installed separately or if further action is required. I appreciate your help indicating to me how to proceed

Kind regards

RMS computation stops after 1 sec

Hi all,

I'm simulating a case in a benchmark and finding a problem when computing the RMS values. Please see below: The total time simulation is 5s and when I apply the function at the scope, it suddenly stops computing the rms after 1s. Is there any reason for such behavior?

Thank you kindly,

Renan
